Wild Indigo Forest Farm + Hideaway Values
Wild Indigo Forest Farm + Hideaway is a regenerative Farm and Apothecary, located twenty five minutes outside of Louisville, among Indianas knobs. Home to a natural swimming pond, 100+ acres of forest, beehives, edible and herbal gardens - with 60 + of the herbs found in our Apothecary. We hold a deep reverence for the plants, materials and people involved in the production of our products. We strive to inspire the global community to re-engage with stewardship of our precious earth by taking action to reduce environmental footprint, uplift one another, and invest in regenerative practices.
We believe that social and environmental responsibility go hand in hand with running a business and true success is attained with a triple bottom line approach — profit, people and planet. We seek to reduce our impact on the environment through facilitating sustainability and integrity throughout our supply chain. We believe plant medicine is for the people and dedicate our time and energy to preparing small batches - while inspiring others to grow and make their own medicine.
Our new Farm 🚜
Y'all, we moved to 🌲 Clark State Forest in Indiana and became the next stewards of a Native Forest Farm with an off the grid cob strawbale home built by artists + plus a tiny cabin!
Wild Indigo Forest Farm is an off the grid Farm to Table Bed & Breakfast (with two campsites & one tiny cabin, at the moment) - specializing in ADA friendly hiking trails among a Native forest + Paw Paw orchard, Daffodil Labyrinth Maze for walking meditations, nature art + classes, hands on herbalism classes + garden/native wildlife education, sup yoga on natural swimming pond, yoga classes, outdoor spa, 50-100 person events, nature camps, and a farm store!
Our farm store will offer formaggio (cheese), butter, milk, eggs, pasta, bread, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and meat grown/made on property. Along with nature art and other handmade products from surrounding farms & artists. Yes, we will carry proper Italian Olio (olive 🫒 oil).
As a 25-year ex-vegan, raw vegan, and many years gluten free; there will be homemade formaggio, gnudi, pasta, pizza, croissants, and plenty of options for you! Food shouldn't be boring, just because it's experienced with different ingredients.
Located in the second highest knob of Indiana, nestled between two state forests and a wildlife refuge - only 20-25 minutes from downtown Louisville.
Most importantly, we want to build and interconnect commUnities - in a time when Unity is not just needed, but required.
